Ginebra 2014 Startech Range Rover Sport

A finales del año pasado os hablé del Range Rover Sport modificado por Startech, al cual habían modificado por completo, aspecto que fue de mi agrado. Pero por desgracia aún no hemos tenido la oportunidad de verlo en vivo, y por lo que me alegro de que Startech haya llevado su Land Rover Range Rover Sport a Ginebra.





En el motor las modificaciones han sido escasas pero eficaces ya que la potencia ha aumentado 31 CV y 80 Nm, con lo que finalmente tiene 323 CV y 680 Nm.





En la parte delantera han añadido un nuevo parachoques con nuevas entradas de aire y nuevas luces LED; y una nueva parrilla de fibra d e carbono.
 En la parte lateral han añadido unas nuevas llantas de la propia firma de 22 pulgadas vestidas por unos neumáticos de 285/35 R22, y han añadido una nueva suspensión regulable que en este caso reduce la altura 25 mm.
Y en la parte trasera, han añadido un nuevo spoiler de techo, y un nuevo difusor de fibra de carbono que incorpora un nuevo sistema de escape de cuatro salidas.





Y el interior ha sido tapizado con cuero Nappa negro y con costuras blancas, se han añadido unos nuevos pedales de aluminio, unas nuevas alfombrillas y se han añadido inserciones de fibra de carbono.

Cadillac annonce quil va dévoiler un nouveau concept jeudi dans le cadre du Monterey Car Week. Si celui nannonce pas spécialement un modèle à venir, il sera en revanche le prétexte pour présenter un nouvel équipement qui se retrouvera sur une de ses futures productions.

Il sagit décrans à diodes électroluminescentes organiques (DELo ou OLED en anglais) incurvés développés avec LG Electronic.

Chevrolet Camaro en Russie

La Chevrolet Camaro poursuit son déploiement international et annonce son arrivée en Russie. La marque ayant, comme en Europe, fortement réduit sa voilure dans ce pays, elle ne sera proposée que dans 6 villes : Moscou (quatre distributeurs), Saint-Pétersbourg, Samara, Novossibirsk, Krasnodar et Tcheliabinsk.

Sur ce marché, seul le 2 litres turbo couplé à la boite automatique à 8 rapports avec palettes au volant figure au catalogue. Pis, il voit sa puissance réduite à 238 chevaux contre 275 en Amérique ou en Europe, même si le couple de 400 nm (295 lb-pi) ne bouge pas. 2017 Roush Stage 3 Mustang quoi de neuf

Roush annonce que sa Stage 3 Mustang modèle 2017 est disponible à la commande chez ses distributeurs à travers les USA. Le 5 litres V8 Coyote reste gavé par un compresseur Eaton TVS de 2,3 litres, développé avec Ford Performance, qui fait grimper la puissance à 670 chevaux et le couple à 780 nm ou 575 lb-pi.

Ce nouveau millésime pousse un peu plus loin les possibilités de personnalisation avec un nouvel aileron en noir brillant, des jantes en aluminium forgé Palladium Gray, des suspensions avec amortisseurs noirs et ressorts rouges ainsi que des vérins de capot maison.
Pour le reste, nous retrouvons le kit carrosserie (bouclier avant, calandre avec badge RS3, prise dair, etc...) et les jant es de 20 pouces Quicksilver avec pneus Cooper RS3. DMC Monte Carlo

Hace ya un tiempo que Ferrari oficializó y sacó al mercado el Ferrari 458 Speciale, y puede que a los dueños de un Ferrari 458 Italia o Spider les gustará más que el suyo, pues DMC te ofrece la posibilidad de asemejarlo gracias a un nuevo kit de carrocería muy parecido a un Ferrari 458 Speciale.





Aunque el 458 Speciale es más rápido que y potente que sus dos hermanos pequeños, DMC no ha retocado el motor, con lo que seguirán siendo un poco más lentos pero tampoco por mucho.

En la parte delantera han añadido un nuevo parachoques, la principal parte que le hace asemejarse al 45 8 Speciale, en la parte lateral han añadido nuevos faldones de fibra de carbono y unas nuevas llantas de PUR Aero de 22 o 21 pulgadas las cuales llevan unos nuevos neumáticos de 255/30 ZR 21 o 335/25 ZR 22.
Y en la parte trasera han añadido un nuevo alerón de fibra de carbono y un nuevo difusor también de fibra de carbono.

Lo único que ha hecho TopCar a este coche ha sido ha sido ponerle unas llantas ADV.1.
Algo que no tiene micho mérito para una sintonizadora que ha realizado grandes trabajos con los Porsche Cayenne, 911 y Panamera.

Novitec es una preparadora que es muy conocida en el mundo, normalmente se conoce por las preparaciones que hace con Ferrari, y algunas veces con Maserati o Alfa Romeo.

2012 Jaguar XKR S

Sacramento, California â€" When the Nissan Rogue rolled out for the first time in 2008, I thought: “Now, there’s something that’s pretty cute.”

And it was marketed via social media and hip TV shows to young-ish folks â€" translation: younger than me â€" who no doubt liked the Rogue’s saucy looks and its practical size as a smallish SUV or crossover … pick your description.

So, the Rogue was completely redesigned for the 2014 model year, adding some sophistication and class without losing the cute factor.

Still, as I gazed at the nearly $30,000 starting price on my top-end 2014 Rogue SL AWD tester, I asked myself if I would be willing to drop 30-grand on it.  I mean cute only goes so far, right?

After a week in the vehicle, you know what?  I think I might be willing to pay up if I was in the market for a loaded, just-the-right-size sport-ute.

Did I say loaded?  I meant jammed to the max with enough safety, security, comfort and convenience features to keep one’s nose buried in the owner’s manual for a week.

I wasn’t really expecting standard features such as a six-way power driver’s seat with lumber support, 18-inch alloy wheels, all-season tires, hill assist, descent control, leather seating surfaces and various techno driving systems.  And yes, three-row seating for seven is available.

My tester included a $2,000 Premium Package that included a power moonroof, LED headlights, auto levelizer, blind spot warning system, lane departure warning system, forward collision warning system and moving object detection system.

Wow! Cute seems to have moved up into the penthouse over the past six years.

I wasn’t complaining.

On the fly, the 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine rated at 170 horsepower and 175 foot-pounds of torque handled most everything rather well.  No, it was not a rubber-burning road warrior, but it scooted as needed in freeway commutes and was pleasantly responsive in the drive-and-dodge maneuvers that have become staples of downtown driving.

Fuel mileage is pretty sweet at 25 miles per gallon in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.  Storage capacity was surprisingly generous.  My ride took on much more than I thought it would at first glance.

The lane departure warning system was way, way too sensitive for my taste.  A blindfolded passenger might have been convinced that I was on the verge of crashing the car 80 percent of the time I was piloting it.  Disable button?  Gotta have it.

Nice rework here, Nissan engineers and designers.  The Rogue was a solid “B” prior to the 2014 model year, and I’d say it has moved into “B-plus” territory in its latest skin.

I’m apparently not alone in my feelings as the 2014 Rogue has been pulling down national awards in multiple categories for months.

Fellow motorists tend to scoot out of your way when they see the GT’s Carroll Shelby-inspired front end approaching from behind.  They’re less inclined to cut you off as well.

Getting out of the car typically prompted conversations with passersby.  Most were green with envy.  Even owners of older Mustangs shouted, “Hey, trade you.”

No, I think not.  I like this Mustang.& nbsp; I was happy to enjoy every minute of my full week in the tester: a 2013 GT Premium Coupe with a base price of $34,300.

That’s still a pretty terrific price for getting 420 horsepower out of the classic 5.0-liter V-8.  That’s up 8 horsepower from last year â€" not much, but 420 is still a pretty high number.   The power plant also produces a low-throated growl that’s also worth the price of admission.

The vehicle looks so aggressive in profile that even the neighborhood kids gave me a little respect when I parked the tester in my driveway, as if to say: “Hey that old man can’t be all that bad if he’s driving a car like th at.”

My favorite touch on the exterior was the incredible light show put on at the back end with the Mustang-classic three-and-three taillights.  Honestly, they light up at night like a gaudy Christmas tree when you hit the key fob.  Great to watch.

Inside, my tester had as bare bones a dashboard as I’ve ever seen.  I think this is the trade-off â€" good looks and big horsepower, but we’re not going to give you luxury interior accommodations.  OK, seems like a fair deal to me.

My Mustang was equipped with a pricey Shaker acoustic audio system, which Ford touts as delivering sound on a level close to a live performance.  Not sure it was at that level, but yeah, it kicked pretty well.

The GT handled all driving situations with sporty ease, and yes, it was fun to dispatch an annoying BMW driver or two who opted to challenge the 5.0 engine’s authority.  Please note: This is not a car you can pack generously for a long trip, but then again, the Mustang never really was meant for that.

Overall, this latest version of the Mustang GT continues to rock.  Respect that.
